A Private Husky Adventure on Wheels
A completely private experience at our small-scale husky farm, far from the crowds around Tromsø. Join us as a driver or passenger and discover the everyday life of our Alaskan huskies.
Reaching us by public transport is easy and scenic: travel by bus from Tromsø to Bardufoss, enjoying fjords, mountains and Arctic landscapes along the way. We collect you in Bardufoss and bring you to the farm.
During the snow-free season, the dogs train with wheeled karts instead of sleds. After a clear safety briefing, your guide selects, prepares and harnesses a team of 6–8 dogs. You can drive the kart yourself, share the driving with someone in your group, or enjoy the journey as a passenger with your guide.
We follow quiet trails through the boreal forest surrounding our farm. The team, route, pace and time on the trail are always adapted to the temperature, conditions and how the dogs are feeling that day. Their welfare always comes first.
After the run, we gather around the fire or in our log cabin for a warm Norwegian lunch, hot drinks and time to hear more about our life with the dogs.
The entire experience lasts approximately three to four hours and is exclusively for your own group.
