Welcome to our husky farm in Northern Norway and experience autumn as we live it.

This is a small-scale Arctic stay built around our seasonal lifestyle, our pack of 35 Alaskan huskies, and the wilderness surrounding the farm. Autumn is one of our favourite times of year: the colours are at their peak, the dogs return to training after summer, berries and mushrooms fill the forests, and the first Northern Lights often appear above the mountains.

Whether you join a scheduled departure or travel with your own family or friends, we keep our groups small and flexible. Depending on the weather, the season, and your wishes, we have the possibility to:

• go dog-karting and drive your own team on a daily basis
• spend a night light by the candles at our mountain hut
• go canoeing on the Målselva river,
• go hiking toundra and wild mountains

We will explore the wilderness just at the doorsteps around our farm, starting each day on a new itinerary across nordic landscapes. Warm and cosy, our large guesthouse is equiped so that you feel right at home. Perfect for groups of families or friends!

Accommodation: 100 years old log-cabin with 7 beds (2 bedrooms, 1 mezzanine, 2 bathrooms)

Number of participants: small and exclusive group of 4 to 6 persons

Landscapes: pine forests, mountains, wild lakes and rivers, toundra

Level: we adapt to all levels, you just need to love dogs - if you are unsure, just send us a few lines about yourself

Departure & arrival: Bardufoss airport (bus connection to Tromsø)

Familial atmosphere in a cosy chalet

During the week you will stay at our cosy log-cabin right by the dog-yard. After a good day outside and a nice diner with locally sourced products (reindeer, moose, salmon, trout...), join for a warm and regenerating sauna. If we are lucky we will also get the chance to admire northern lights dancing above us, far from light pollution. Some of the best Northern Lights are often seen in September!

One overnight to our mountain hut

To finish the week the best possible way, we offer you to spend a night at our little mountain hut, lit only by candles, and with our dog-pack as best friends!

If you dream to learn everything about huskies, mushing and the seasonal lifestyle in Northern Norway, this is your chance!

We will give you an inside-out about Alaskan huskies, teach you the basics of driving dog-teams, and you will get the chance to meet 35 of them up-close and personal. We will go out on karts every time the temperatures allows it, stopping for lunch by a fireplace where we will get the chance to relax and pet the dogs.
