Welcome to our family-run husky farm — an exclusive dog sledding holiday in Northern Norway for small private groups.

Join us for an unforgettable dog sledding adventure in Northern Norway and travel through the breathtaking Arctic mountains with your own team of Alaskan huskies. Each day we set out on a new route, adapting to weather conditions and the wishes of the group, exploring pine forests, wide valleys, frozen lakes and open mountain plateaus in the heart of the Norwegian wilderness.

Warm, welcoming and personal, this multi-day dogsledding holiday is designed for small groups of friends or families looking for a genuine Arctic experience at a real husky farm — far from mass tourism.

Accommodation

You will stay in one of our cosy log houses — either our charming historical log house or our log cabin located right by the dog yard — depending on availability and group composition. All options offer a warm, authentic and comfortable Arctic atmosphere. All houses are fully equipped to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay in the Arctic wilderness.

🐾 A cosy and personal Arctic stay

During the week you will live close to the dogs in a warm and comfortable log house. After exciting days outdoors, enjoy homemade dinners with locally sourced ingredients (reindeer, moose, salmon, trout…). In the evening, relax in the sauna and — if we are lucky — watch the Northern Lights dancing above the farm, far from light pollution.

🛷 Drive your own dog team

At 69° North, step into the daily life of real mushers. Throughout the week you will build a connection with our husky family of 35 dogs (aged 1–10 years).

Each day you drive your own sled with a team of 4 to 5 dogs through stunning Nordic landscapes. We stop for lunch outdoors, light a fire, and take time to relax and cuddle the dogs.

A night (or more) in the wilderness

One of the week’s most magical moments awaits…

During the week, we spend one night — or more, depending on weather conditions and the wishes of the group — away from the farm for a true wilderness experience.

This will be either in our cosy mountain hut, softly lit by candles and surrounded by Arctic silence, or, for the more adventurous, in a heated winter tent set at a beautiful spot by the frozen lake above our farm, with the pack of dogs never far away.

In the tent, we keep things warm and comfortable with a Primus stove in the evening and morning, and we provide high-quality winter sleeping bags to ensure a cosy night under the Arctic sky. Whichever option we choose, this wilderness stay is always a highlight of the week — simple, authentic and unforgettable.

If you dream to learn everything about huskies, mushing and the winter lifestyle in Northern Norway, this is your chance!

We will give you an inside-out about Alaskan huskies, teach you the basics of driving dog-teams, and you will get the chance to meet the 35 of them up-close and personal. We will go out on sleds every day with 4 to 5 dogs, stopping for lunch by a fireplace where we will get the chance to relax and spend time with the dogs.
